Practifi Zinfandel Release Notes
BY Kali Skidelsky
We’re excited to bring you our latest product release, Practifi Zinfandel.
Zinfandel wine, with its roots tracing back to Croatia, has become a beloved varietal in California winemaking. Known for its bold and robust character, Zinfandel offers a diverse taste profile ranging from jammy and fruity notes of blackberry and raspberry to spicy undertones of black pepper and licorice. This versatile wine pairs with a variety of dishes, including grilled meats, hearty pastas and even spicy cuisine.
Just as Zinfandel has evolved and adapted to different climates and tastes, our latest product enhancements are designed to meet the diverse needs of our users. The following improvements provide a smoother, more efficient workflow, much like how a well-paired Zinfandel enhances the dining experience.
Practifi Zinfandel will be available starting September 16, 2024. If you have any questions or want to learn more, your Client Success Manager will be happy to help. You can view more detailed product release notes here.
Product Enhancements
Track and Modify Risk Profile Questions With Version Control
Within Risk Profiles, administrators can now create and update question sets without overwriting previous versions, ensuring clairty and preserving context. New Question Set actions and fields allow admins to modify questions and track versions. Additionally, all Question Sets can be viewed on a new Risk Profiles page in the Settings app. Learn more about understanding and managing Risk Profiles. If Risk Profiles are new to you, check out how to enable Risk Profiles.
Enjoy a More Intuitive Promote to Prospect Workflow
In Pinot Blanc, we rebuilt the Promote to Prospect workflow to dynamically display fields based on user input, eliminating the need to click Next repeatedly. In this release, we’ve enhanced the usability of the Promote to Prospect workflow, making it more intuitive to complete. Visual feedback and conditional buttons confirm all mandatory fields are validated, streamlining the user experience and preventing incomplete submissions.
Include Emails in Last Contacted Calculation
Gain a more comprehensive view of client interactions by externding the calculation for Date of Last Contact to include emails. By default, the Date of Last Contact covers calls and events; now administrators have the option to include emails in the calculation. This new option is inactive by default for flexible activation.
Control Uploads With Restricted File Types
The new File Extension Blacklist setting provides administrators the ability to control which file types can be uploaded to Practifi. Restricted file types will apply to comments, documents, Microsoft 365 email and calendar sync, portals and any other areas where users can upload files, ensuring only safe file formats are brought into the system. File Extension Blacklist is not enabled by default. When enabled, the setting comes pre-configured with a comprehensive set of blacklisted file types and allows administrators to add or remove file types as needed.
Enhance Security With Escape CSV Injection Setting
We’ve rolled out a new custom setting called Escape CSV Injection, which is automatically enabled for all Practifi organizations. This setting adds an extra layer of security right from the start, safeguarding against potential CSV injection attacks during data exports from Practifi tables. Note: you can choose to disable the Escape CSV Injection setting, but this will remove the protection against CSV injection attacks.
Tailor Select Practifi Flows to Suit Your Firm’s Needs
Due to popular request, we’ve unlocked another subset of pre-packaged Practifi Flows for greater customization and flexibility. Users can now modify these flows, keeping in mind that any modifications will be saved as a new flow and override the original version. To preserve the history, the original flow will be retained as an inactive one. Note: any future product updates to the original pre-packaged Practifi Flows will not apply to any modified flows. See the full list of modifiable flows here.
