The Deliverables Update Admins Have Been Asking For
Plus, a faster start for new team members, and one quick step to keep your AI features running smoothly.
Ask any Practifi admin about the trickiest part of managing Services & Deliverables, and you’ll hear some version of the same story: you open up a Deliverable Type to make one small tweak, hit save, and then spend the next ten minutes wondering whether that change just quietly pushed out to every client record.
That’s the exact fear we set out to eliminate with Mencia, our latest release, rolling out July 27, 2026.
Guided Services & Deliverables Configuration
Service Types and Deliverable Types now live together in one guided setup in the Settings app’s Entity Management page with plain-language questions, live due-date previews, and here’s the part admins have been asking for: full control over when a configuration change actually syncs out to existing Deliverables. Saving a change and pushing it live are now two separate, deliberate steps, so you can test out a few different setups, get the due dates exactly right, and only push it live once you’re confident it’s ready. No more guessing whether a small tweak just quietly went out to every client record.
If you’re already using Deliverables, there’s nothing you need to do. This improved experience applies automatically once your organization is upgraded. If you haven’t turned Deliverables on yet, this might be the moment to start. It gives your team a more structured, auditable way to track service delivery, and enabling it is a quick permissions and page setup step through Support.
A Faster Start with the New Get Started Page
New feature, new hire, or just someone logging into a less familiar app once a quarter? We’ve all been there, clicking around looking for the right resource. The new Get Started page in the Welcome app brings your assigned apps and key learning/support resources into one place, replacing the old in-app tutorial with something a lot more useful: an actual home base. For new team members especially, that means less time getting oriented and more time doing actual client work in those first few weeks.
One Quick, Secure Step for Practifi Intelligence
If you use AI features like Smart Notes or Follow-up Assistant, here’s a heads-up: the first time you open one after your organization is upgraded, you’ll be asked to complete a one-time, secure sign-in to reconnect your account. It only takes a minute, and it’s a small trade-off for two things that matter: keeping your AI tools running without any interruption to your workflow and adding an extra layer of protection around your account. This applies even if you’ve been using these features for a while.

We’ve relabeled 112 permission sets for clarity (API names are unchanged, no action needed), and resolved four issues affecting the Feed, action menu permissions, servicing team assignment, and Smart Notes migration.
