Practifi Sauvignon Blanc Release Notes

We’re excited to bring you our latest product release, Practifi Sauvignon Blanc.

 

Just as Sauvignon Blanc is celebrated for its crisp clarity and vibrant character, the Practifi Sauvignon Blanc release uncorks an invigorating blend of new capabilities designed to bring sharper insights and more intuitive workflows to your wealth management operations.

This release introduces Smart Notes, our new feature for intelligent meeting documentation, as well as several new updates, including interactive visual process flow diagrams, key enhancements to Follow-up Assistant, an improved Black Diamond integration, and smarter Active Form filtering.

Product Enhancements

Smart Notes: Simplify Documentation, Amplify Client Impact

We built Smart Notes to help wealth management teams transition from disconnected, static notes to a collaborative system that supports advisors and enhances client outcomes. Traditional notes often leave valuable client insights buried or scattered, making collaboration, compliance and follow-up more difficult than they should be. 

 

With Smart Notes, advisors can create structured notes using customizable templates or build them from scratch, tailoring each note to fit their firm’s unique needs. Smart Notes also enables collaboration with threaded comments and @mentions, and integrates with Follow-up Assistant to automatically surface action items, helping your team stay organized and deliver timely follow-up. 

 

Additionally, with polished PDF export capabilities, teams can easily deliver compliant and professional documentation to clients and regulators. Role-based permissions ensure the right people have the right access, maintaining governance and security. Smart Notes empowers advisors to capture deeper client insights, work more efficiently and deliver better service. 

 

 

Process Flow Visualization for Process Types

We’re excited to bring the power of visual workflow management to Process Types, building on the success of Smart Process Builder’s flowcharts. Gain full visibility into your business workflows with interactive, industry-standard flowcharts embedded directly in Process Type records. 

 

Visual diagrams clearly display task dependencies, process stages and decision points using intuitive symbols and color coding. Click on any task node to open a detailed side panel showing task summaries, priorities, statuses, assignments and configured actions – allowing administrators to investigate configurations without leaving the flowchart interface. 

 

This enhancement provides full visibility into complex workflows, enabling teams to understand, optimize, and document business processes more effectively. It’s a direct result of client feedback from the popular Smart Process Builder beta, now expanded to all Process Type records, regardless of how they were created.

 

 

Follow-up Assistant Improvements

The Follow-up Assistant, introduced in Practifi’s latest July 2025 Pinot Meunier release as a new Practifi Intelligence tool, uses AI to analyze meeting notes and suggest relevant action items tailored to your firm’s workflows. With this release, Follow-up Assistant offers even more ways to streamline follow-up: it can now analyze Feed posts to recommend tasks, processes and topics; provide context-aware recommendations from Smart Notes and standard Notes; and indicate the source of each suggestion with clear, color-coded icons. Users can also add new topics directly from the Complete Follow-up window, helping firms capture key information more efficiently. For administrators, new configuration options let you manage which topics are suggested and adjust the Threshold setting for how confident the system must be before making a recommendation – all from the Additional Features page in the Settings app. These enhancements boost productivity, improve data consistency and make it easier than ever to turn insights into action.  

 

 

Greater Control and Confidence in Black Diamond Integration

We know how critical it is for wealth management firms to have accurate, real-time client data across all platforms. That’s why we enhanced our Black Diamond integration, transforming a once manual, batch-driven sync into a smooth, bidirectional flow of client and contact information. With the new integration, you can create and update client records directly from Practifi using a simple one-click “Send to Black Diamond” button. Real-time syncing ensures your data is up-to-date, enabling you to make better-informed decisions quickly. Visual sync confirmations and improved control over record linking give your team confidence that client information is complete, accurate and easy to manage. 

 

 

Improved Active Form Filtering with Flow Support

Launching tasks from Entity records has never been easier or more precise. Active Forms now filter more effectively to display only records related to the originating record (e.g., contacts for a specific Household), thanks to the new sourceRecordId variable that passes the originating record’s ID during task launch. This consistency extends to task views and completion marking, enabling faster and more intuitive workflows. Custom Active Form Flows will require updates to leverage this new variable for full functionality.

Resolved Issues by Product Area

List Views

We enhanced the user experience by fixing an issue where list view dropdowns didn’t show saved or shared views across multiple objects in apps like Advisor. This issue was caused by a CSS conflict that prevented proper rendering. The fix restores full display of dropdown menus for objects such as Batches, Categories, Components, Deals, Process Types and more. Users can now easily access their preferred views, improving navigation and usability. 

 

 

Table Filtering Performance

We’ve improved the Subject filter in tables to deliver faster, more responsive performance in environments with many task subjects. Optimizations in filter processing and UI simplification reduce delays and prevent browser crashes, resulting in a smoother filtering experience.  

 

Miscellaneous

In addition to the enhancements above, we’ve addressed several other issues, including bug fixes to Flows, Integrations, Chatter and Active Forms. See a complete list of resolved issues in the full technical release notes here.
