Product Analyst, Integrations

We’re looking for a Product Analyst, Integrations to join our very talented Product team in Sydney, Australia. We’re investing heavily in our roadmap of strategic integrations and in the Practifi API. The Product Analyst, Integrations — reporting to the Product Manager, Integrations — is the detailed technical business analyst who will help deliver that vision. 

This is a commercially-oriented role in a fast-paced environment, where your success is measured in delighted clients and tangible ROI. It’s perfectly suited to someone with a passion for SaaS integration in the wealth industry, an incredible eye for detail, strong technical analysis skills, good testing/QA ability and immaculate communication skills.

  • As part of the Integrations squad, deliver a range of product integrations to market, spanning wealth industry tools (financial advice, portfolio management, risk assessment, financial modelling, research), business productivity (email, calendaring, document management, messaging), cloud integration services (Zapier,, Skyvia) and much more.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, Integrations to define, publish and maintain the roadmap of new integrations and enhancements planned for future releases.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, Integrations to prioritise the delivery of integrations and API features, carefully balancing commercial needs with delivery capacity.
  • Write epics, user stories and acceptance criteria to define the backlog for integrations and API development work.
  • Write detailed interface specifications for integrations. Own and version-manage the Practifi API specification (using Swagger).
  • Work closely with developers to create and execute unit tests during sprints, and with the release & QA team to facilitate end-to-end testing and regression testing during release windows.
  • Work closely with Practifi’s client success teams in Chicago and Sydney to ensure that integrations delight our clients, create big efficiencies and help grow their businesses.
  • Work with our integration partners and Practifi’s channel marketing team to jointly create integrations and take them to market, spanning marketing, release management and client support.
  • Work with the Product Manager, Integrations and with Practifi’s Learning team to grow the Practifi development community with the documentation they need to develop with the Practifi API.
  • Work with architects and senior developers to expand the vision for Practifi’s API and strategic integrations. Establish design patterns that ship high-quality integrations to market quickly.
  • 5+ years as a business analyst or QA analyst specifying and delivering integrations and strategic APIs in SaaS or other software products.
  • Degree-level qualifications in information technology or a related field.
  • Ideally, technical experience in the Salesforce platform and its APIs. Maybe you’re even Salesforce certified.
  • A background in financial services, ideally in financial advice, superannuation or market data.
  • Experience in working in high-velocity development teams in an Agile/Scrum delivery approach.
  • Experience in presenting at user group meetings, product launches and industry events.
  • An enthusiasm to travel several times a year to the United States to spend time with our Chicago team and attend industry events.
  • A ton of passion for the work you do and for delivering killer apps that excite customers.
